A Blossoming Breakthrough

Ever find yourself feeling restless, unsettled, distracted and disturbed?

Worried-we fear, doubting- we react. We see pain, we feel sadness, and we want to be angry because anger feels strong!

I have spent years letting my pain/hurt turn into anger. As time steals along, bitterness hardens a part of my heart, a part of my soul. It progresses; it grows deeper and with every pang, the lie that was planted invades and chokes up everything around it until that piece of me denies to exist anymore.

How terrifyingly wonderful it is that Our Father refuses to leave us this injured or broken?! He promises in Ezekiel 36:26 NKJV

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

I don’t believe this happens instantaneously. I believe that this is part of our journey in following Jesus, where our flesh, our pride, our hurts, our past are hung and nailed to a tree. When we decide to surrender to His will, a beautiful mess begins to get perfected.

How tender and loving is our Father toward us; that He not only provides a way to Him, through Jesus. He meets us right where we are and refuses to leave us the way He found us-broken. He removes our past hurt with our past record. We need only yield and allow His strength to be made perfect in our weakness!

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
